Latest HGTV project....wonder what will be next???

HGTV is the best place for great ideas. My little "hut" is coming alive! The headboard is made from 20"sq plywood and I drilled a hole in the center. Then glued dense foam on the plywood, wrapped it with quilt batting and covered it with ultra suede. Easy and I love it!

This is my latest and greatest project from HGTV. My boring linen closet door at the end of my hallway just got a new facelift and what a difference! It just opens up the hallway, adds depth and light. Made with mirrors and molding to match the shape of the new white 6 panel doors I had installed when I moved into the house. I love it!

Sarah- Thanks for fixing the music on my blog and putting the really cool back drop up for me. I love it. When I get back to Kansas you need to show me how to do this. I need to get some pictures of the kids up here....I will take pics when I am there. See you in a few days.

This past week-end I went to Scott & Trish's in Ellensburg and then went on to Moses Lake to Madison's Hip Hop Dance Recital. Madison did a perfect dance, was in perfect beat to the music and made us all so very proud of her. She is a great little "hip hopper"....but I don't know where she has the time to do all that she is involved in, let along where Trish has all the time to take her to all the different sports she is involved in. I am sorry to say I don't have any pictures to post, maybe later.

You should have seen this house when I bought it.....not a pretty picture. Now I love coming home.

House remodel outside

This was quite the undertaking to remodel my home inside and out but very rewarding to see all my hard work come together to make such a beautiful "hut" to come home to after work. I love it!

My 60th birthday was a fun time with friends and family. Kyle took all of us to Anthony's Homeport in Kirkland for a fabulous dinner. I am very blessed to have such a wonderful Son. He loves his Mother....and it really shows.

Painting the trim on my home has been completed, I now have to finish the fence. I love living downtown Issaquah and only 4 1/2 blocks to the office. Life is good. My Son is about to turn 35 and want everything looking good with the house before the "party" Last night I had dinner with Kyle and Lacey and after dinner we came to my house for homemade chocolate cream pie with an Oreo cookie crust and whipping cream top.
